AVP Sales Director Europe

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Developing and implementing a business and product strategy for the European region

Performing European market and competitor analysis

Generating leads and establishing relationships with prospective customers

Engaging in the full business development and sales cycle with prospective customers

Developing a network of business partners within the region (if deemed necessary by the agreed strategy), maintaining effective business relationships with partners, preparing partner agreements, monitoring their implementation

Participating in product, customer and geographically based research projects

Represent the organisation at conferences and exhibitions

You will bring the following skills and experience:

10+ years experience working in the electronic payments and retail banking technology industry (license and processing service sales experience)

Experience of working with card schemes (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, etc.)

Experience of working at a financial service provider (e.g. retail bank)

Strong European market knowledge

Proven experience in developing new markets (and/or segments), taking new products into the market and actively participating in defining new product offerings

Excellent presentation and communication skills, both oral and written

Ability to work as part of a global team

Availability for extensive travel

Proven sales skills
