A fantastic opportunity to lead a team comprising both Sales and Service functions with the mission to build a separate P&L & management team for this product. Understanding the market, customer’s current and future requirements; the strengths and weaknesses of competitor’s products and defining and delivering new products and enhancements to optimise customer experience and maximise the P&L are key to success in this role.

The job:

  • Drive sales. Our strategic goal is to treble our customer base within 4 years.
  • Keep abreast of the latest market trends. Analyse impact on product offering and make strategic recommendations.
  • Develop, gain approval for and regularly update an 18-month rolling strategic roadmap.
  • Work with key stakeholders in the business to define, socialise and gain sign off for detailed end to end functional and customer experience requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver all assigned initiatives to time, cost and quality agreed following agreed Product Management and Project Office processes, including IT development and testing, management of delivery from external suppliers, end to end processes and support plans.
  • Working with key stakeholders develop, agree and implement launch plans for business initiatives including marketing, sales, support, training and communication plans.
  • Work with internal stakeholders, suppliers and customers to identify and implement product and process enhancements to drive continuous improvement and ‘best in class’ customer experience.
  • Monitor the key financial metrics produced by the Finance and Pricing teams, identify opportunities and issues and work with key stakeholders to develop and implement plans to address.
  • Commercial and contractual management of key suppliers to ensure ‘fit for purpose’ products, best in class customer experience and excellent pricing.

 

 

 

 

Experience/ qualifications and skills required:

 

  • A solid understanding of the payments industry
  • Demonstrable sales and commercial skills
  • 5+ years payments product management experience
  • People management experience
  • Positive and engaged attitude
  • Commercial awareness
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills - both spoken and written at all levels

London £90,000 plus bonus and benefits
