Operations Manager (Weekend)

his is an excellent part time (28 hours from Friday to Monday) to full-time (Thursday to Monday or Friday to Tuesday) leadership role responsible for the delivery of high-quality client support, co-ordinating internal support and external service providers and ensuring effective communication on all matters relating to the systems, delivery, availability and satisfaction of client service requirements.

NB: The working hours for this role include daytime hours every weekend, aside annual leave.

The role requires a detailed knowledge of payment processing (Mastercard, Visa)  as well as technical skills, excellent communication, and strong team work

As the overall owner of Operations during daytime weekend hours responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Phone and email based client service
  • Understanding and supporting the delivery of client service to exceed SLAs
  • Analysis & investigation of client service request tickets
  • Day to day management of client service request tickets, including management of information quality, updating supporting documentation, and escalation where required
  • Answering questions relating to processing, API behaviour and customer support tools.
  • Second line investigation of issues, ownership of the escalation process
  • Capturing critical information and escalating issues appropriately to bring timely resolution
  • Incident management
  • Maintaining and creating internal and external documentation



  • 2 years of experience in Client Service, preferably in cards, payments or banking.
  • An understanding of transaction processing systems, electronic point of sale and ATMs
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English to work within a global team.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload with strong sense of urgency and efficiency in completing work.
  • Ability to deal with both technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels of seniority
  • Have a genuine interest in technology
